Ivory Lace Blazer/Jacket

I made a Burda Jacket yet broke a few rules as per usual 🙂 I used ivory lace with slight stretch instead of the stretch jersey and I redrafted the facing making it wider. I also opted out of the interfacing as the the type of lace (feels like linen but stretches like cotton) I used provided enough structure.

What I used:

  • Lace (one way slight stretch)
  • Thread
  • Paul Simon’s Graceland album. Brilliant.

    1. Thank you, Jessica!! I’m excited to make another with some unconventional fabric of course 🙂

    1. Thank you!! It’s become a favourite among all the women in my life, young and older.
Burdastyle.com has some great patterns, easy to download and piece together.
Have you ever made something from a République du Chiffon pattern? I recently purchased a couple and will be working on them next week.
