Lace & Leopard- my favourite pairing!
My personal favourite thus far…
Fleur-de-lys flag dress for my favourite province!!
Joyeuse St. Jean, mes amis!
What I used:
You win some & butcher others!
Nicely executed brown knit top but a loss on the bottom piece -simple combination of some cheap polyester that was probably destined to line chairs + the fact that I still have a lot to learn!
What I used:
I made a Burda Jacket yet broke a few rules as per usual 🙂 I used ivory lace with slight stretch instead of the stretch jersey and I redrafted the facing making it wider. I also opted out of the interfacing as the the type of lace (feels like linen but stretches like cotton) I used provided enough structure.
A self-drafted dress for an upcoming date night with Carolyn at the new Montréal Planetarium!
I used the pattern pieces from Burda Strapless Jumpsuit however I didn’t follow the instructions and made it my own (Quelle surprise!?).
My Singer 347 is in the shop so I’m using my Singer Featherweight (no zigzag stitching). To compensate I used an elastic bobbin thread for anything sewn vertically. I also used a 1″ elastic for the waist and 1″ for the top of the bustier.
